A Billing Analyst performs analytical and administrative work at financial institutions and banks that handle bills, receipts, and invoices. Analyzes the status of client accounts and keeps track of non-payments and other billing issues and trends.

Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements while identifying solution options, risks, and interdependencies. Document current-state and future-state process flows, conduct analytics to identify gaps and abnormal workflows, and create business and functional specifications for complex system implementations. Develop testing strategies, prepare user acceptance testing plans, execute test scripts, document results, and support end-to-end testing remediation and progress tracking. Complete project support documentation, including procedures, manuals, traceability matrices, implementation tasks, production check-out activities, and archival of related documentation.
Required:
8 to 10 years of relevant experience in a senior business analyst capacity. 8 to 10 years of experience in business and functional requirements elicitation, translation, and documentation. 8 to 10 years of experience facilitating design and use case discussions and working in a Systems Development Life Cycle environment. 8 to 10 years of experience in the utility domain within a project setting and in the Customer/1 application, with functional knowledge of the meter to cash life cycle, including billing and net metering. Experience working in an IBM mainframe environment (z/OS) and extensive experience using MS Office and Visio. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a similar discipline, or equivalent work experience.
