Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent At least 2 years of Medical Billing experience Medical billing and coding certification preferred CPC, medical billing certification/training, or SGPCE a plus Revenue cycle management experience Collections and accounts receivable experience Strong working knowledge of CPC codes Experience working with pediatrics and/or pediatric behavioral health codes EMR experience Experience working with e-clinical works a plus Experience with full cycle billing Experience submitting claims Experience communicating with patients to discuss billing issues and questions

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring accurate billing Submitting claims in a timely manner Monitoring claim status Researching rejections and denials Correcting and resubmitting claims Submitting appeals for denied claims Entering charge and payment entries in to the EMR system Working with providers to clarify billing discrepancies Processing payments Following up with patients in regard to accounts that are past due Assist with billing audits Answer patients' questions about their accounts Complete billing reports

Pay:
