We offer an array of services that extend far beyond those of a traditional home medical equipment company and have been serving residents throughout the state of Maine for the past 30 years. You can look to us for: CPAP/BIPAP, respiratory therapy, durable medical equipment and supplies, and home infusion therapy. Better living made possible starts with people like you! This position is full-time in person, Monday through Friday; 8am to 5pm in Augusta.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Correspondence Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Team. The Correspondence Specialist is responsible for providing timely, accurate, and customer-focused support to patients and internal departments. This position plays a key role in the daily administrative communications for KPHC. The position will support patient pay follow-up, assist with billing documentation, and collaborate with supervisors to resolve escalated patient concerns.
Responsibilities Include:
Handling all phases of customer inquiries received via phone or written correspondence. Responding to customer inquiries and complaints regarding bill payments, account updates, service issues, and collections in a professional manner. Efficient, timely, and accurate processing and data entry of assigned claim files and claim payments. Ensuring that payer and third-party company addresses are updated and accurate Work in a team environment in a shared office space Ability to multi-task and effectively manage an active case load. Provide excellent customer service while taking in-bound calls and assisting with requests. Maintain patient confidentiality and rights.
