Requirements:
Essential Functions Collect, audit, and input billing data for submission to all Michigan Medicaid payors. Communicate with Billing Specialist as representative for Electronic Medical Records system to resolve billing-related issues stemming from software. Assist billing specialist in working with Michigan Medicaid to address rejections/appeals, authorizations, and contracts. Maintain working knowledge of several different Community Mental Health provider billing policies and procedures. Effectively and professionally communicate billing issues with LOGAN leadership. Supports general office duties and responsibilities, filing, and tracking billing needs. Monitoring for billing overlaps and errors, and communicating with providers Posts payments from CMH Supporting connections and scheduling in Central Reach for clients and providers. Supporting and completing corrective claim forms Submitting paper bills for secondary CMH billing requirements Willingness to learn and support the Billing Specialist in various client billing needs General Responsibilities Expected to maintain a high standard of customer service, professionalism, and respect for employees. QUALIFICATIONS
Education High school diploma (minimum) Experience Experience in health care or a related field preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Bulleted list; no numerical or alphabetical ordering Self-initiates activities.
