Legal Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with a leading law firm in the search for an Accounting & Billing Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic and detail-oriented individual to join a fast-paced accounting and billing department. The role supports firm-wide billing activities across multiple offices and plays an important part in ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient client invoicing. This position offers exposure to a wide range of billing and accounting functions, making it a strong entry point for someone looking to build a long-term career in professional services accounting.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with professionals and support staff to prepare, review, and edit pre-bills and client invoices. Process and submit electronic invoices through various e-billing platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements. Monitor billing submissions and follow up to ensure timely acceptance and resolution of rejected invoices. Communicate with internal stakeholders and, when necessary, clients to support efficient billing processing. Research and resolve billing discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and support process improvements. Maintain and update billing records within the accounting system. Assist with distribution of month-end billing reports and related reporting functions. Support cost recovery and trust-related accounting activities as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, but not required. Prior accounting or billing experience preferred; law firm or professional services experience a plus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability and willingness to learn new accounting and billing systems. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy. Strong communication skills with a professional, client-service mindset. Compensation $60,000.00 Job # 2235 Share
