Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Billing and Claims Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing healthcare claims, ensuring accurate billing processes, and facilitating smooth communication between providers and insurance companies. Your expertise will help optimize revenue cycles and uphold the highest standards of medical billing accuracy. The Billing Specialist is responsible for the management of the billing process and accounts receivable revenue. Duties Essential Functions The Billing Specialist is responsible for:
  • Coordinating with the Auditor to confirm and execute billing submission dates
  • Confirming claims are "clean claims"
  • Posting Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs)
  • Researching claim issues
  • Communicating with insurance Claims Department staff to resolve unpaid claims Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Thoroughness Work Environment The essential functions are conducted in an office environment and remotely when tasks are sufficiently completed in a timely manner. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines. Required Experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience with the Central Reach Billing platform
  • Minimum of five years of experience completing billing procedures with an EHR
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, organized, detail-oriented, ethical, and dependable.
  • Ability to maintain composure during challenging circumstances Benefits and Reimbursement Generous PTO accrual, medical and dental after two months of employment and eligible for 401K after six months of employment.
The initial hourly rate is $25.00 per hour. The Owner will evaluate performance and capture of denied claims revenue in a timely manner and may increase the hourly rate to $30.00 per hour after one month of employment.
