Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Pay:

$24-$29 per hour, based on experience NKC Dental is hiring a Dental Billing Specialist to keep insurance payments, claims, and patient accounts accurate and up to date. We're looking for someone who is organized, comfortable working with dental insurance, and able to follow issues through to resolution. What you'll do Post insurance checks and electronic payments (EFTs). Review explanations of benefits (EOBs) and reconcile payments and adjustments. Follow up on outstanding, denied, and underpaid claims. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, including coverage limitations and remaining maximums. Correct claim issues and submit additional information when needed. Occasionally speak with patients about account balances and payment questions. Work with the front office team to resolve billing discrepancies. What we're looking for Dental insurance billing and verification experience preferred. Experience with payment posting and claim follow-up. Ability to interpret dental benefits and EOBs accurately. Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Professional communication with patients, insurance representatives, and coworkers. Dentrix/ Dentrix Ascend experience is a plus.
