Premium Billing Specialist Americo Financial Life and Annuity - 2.0 Kansas City, MO Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Entry level Under 1 year Full Job Description Premium Billing Specialist I Americo is hiring a full-time Premium Billing Specialist to join our expanding team! The hours for this position are 8:00 - 5:00, onsite at our downtown Kansas City office. The primary purpose of this position is to provide an entry level for candidates who have not demonstrated the education/job experience for a Level 2. This role is responsible for processing incoming payments and handling of phone inquiries from external and internal customers and other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate and administer on demand premium drafting via telephony software for policyholders following department guidelines while adhering to compliance regulations Apply incoming premiums for life and annuity products in accordance with departmental policies and procedures Refund overpaid premiums and perform basic accounting transactions between company accounts. Review suspense entries, restricted/suspended policies, and resolve basic customer inquiries Various other duties based on department needs and individual capacity

Experience and Qualifications:

Basic comprehension of Accounting Principals Comprehension of Americo processes and systems (NBUW, Vantage, AWD, Americo.com, Microsoft Outlook, SSRS, Navision, PAS, Dashboard, My Americo, Sales Connection, Suitability Interview Program, Calabrio, Finesse, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word) Basic Customer Service and Financial Services knowledge Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to interact with internal staff via phone once role proficiency has been obtained Detail oriented - deliver consistently high quality output Multi-tasking without undue stress Ability to be a team player (foster mutual respect in your dealings with others) Ability to thrive in a learning environment (cross train, added responsibilities) Critical thinking skills

Education:

Four-year college education or equivalent work experience #AMERICO #LI-KC2
