Tri-National, a fast-growing, truck load carrier located in St. Charles, MO, is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Accounting Department as the Billing and Collections Manager. This position is in direct support to the Senior Accountant in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance/Accounting Department. A BS/BA and a minimum of 5 years' experience in collections and management of a billing department are required. Looking for candidates with previous experience in the trucking industry and possess strong analytical skills when working in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the Billing department Audit customer rates to ensure orders will be correctly invoiced Maintain communication between Billing team and the Operations and Sales departments Review the billing variance at the end of each day to identify billing errors before submission to customers Work with the Accounting team to research non-payment issues and short pays Research past-due customer balances and contact customers regarding payment Generate weekly Billing reports to submit to management Prepare for and attend, weekly Accounts Receivable meetings with management Respond to customer inquiries

Skills and Qualifications:

Prior experience in Trucking/Transportation, a plus Prior experience with Indexing software, a plus Knowledge of AS400, a plus Team player - does whatever it takes to get the job done Someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and possesses the ability to multi-task and prioritize the workload Must possess good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, as well as a positive attitude Experience with Microsoft products including
