Our client, a growing company in the railroad construction industry, is looking for two Billing Specialists to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong billing, Accounts Receivable, and Microsoft Excel experience who enjoys working in a high-energy environment. Job Responsibilities:

Create and process accurate invoices using accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or another ERP system. Review and process billing documents and forms accurately and in a timely manner. Organize, analyze, and manipulate data in Microsoft Excel on a daily basis. Utilize Excel formulas, including IF statements, nested IF statements, arithmetic, and basic statistical functions, to perform calculations and improve efficiency. Manage multiple spreadsheets and assist with creating interactive dashboards and reports. Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and identify overdue accounts. Research and resolve payment discrepancies and billing-related issues. Respond to email inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Maintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. Provide administrative and accounting support as needed and assist with special projects. Work collaboratively with the AR Manager and other members of the accounting and operations teams.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. At least 2 years of Accounts Receivable, billing, or related accounting experience. Construction industry experience is highly preferred. Previous experience creating invoices using Sage, QuickBooks, or another ERP/accounting system. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with formulas and manipulating data. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Basic understanding of accounting terminology and principles. Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in multiple systems and software packages. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
