Billing Specialist Rowan Psychiatric and Medical Services, PA Concord, NC Job Details Full-time $18 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Appeals Medicare HIPAA Records management Medical insurance appeals management Medicaid Insurance claims appeal handling Account reconciliation Full Job Description Qualifications The ideal candidate has a strong background in medical billing Minimum 2-3 years of experience in medical billing Proven experience in denials management, appeals, and insurance follow-up Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance payers Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Responsibilities be responsible for managing claim denials, appeals, insurance credentialing, and verification processes Review, analyze, and resolve denied or underpaid claims in a timely manner Prepare and submit appeals for denied claims, ensuring compliance with payer guidelines Track and follow up on outstanding claims, correcting errors to secure payment Work closely with insurance companies to identify trends in denials and implement corrective actions Maintain detailed records of provider contracts, enrollment status, and credentialing applications Utilize Tebra for billing, claims processing, and account reconciliation Maintain compliance with HIPAA, payer policies, and industry regulations Assist with patient billing inquiries and develop payment plans as needed Generate reports on claim status, denials, credentialing progress, and revenue cycle trends
