The Medical Billing Specialist is responsible for submitting claims to Medicare, commercial insurance carriers, and other third-party payers; posting and reconciling payments; monitoring accounts receivable; working billing and aging reports; following up on unpaid or denied claims; and pursuing delinquent accounts to maximize reimbursement. This position requires a strong understanding of medical billing procedures, insurance regulations, claims management and physician credentialing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and dependable, with excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. The ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team is essential. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to timely collections are essential to maintaining the financial health of the practice and providing exceptional service to our patients. This is not a remote position.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
