JOB SUMMARY
Kutak Rock seeks an E-Billing Specialist to join the firm's Accounting and Finance Department in Omaha. This role is responsible for assisting in the monitoring and review of e-billed invoices through various portals. Focusing on rejected invoices, disallowances and management and overview of appeal deadlines and provide clear communication and assistance in e-billing matters with all areas of the Department, as well as firm attorneys, staff and clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the end-to-end electronic billing process, including invoice submissions, approvals using various e-billing portals, E-Billing Hub and BillBlast Initial setup of new clients/matters with the E-Billing Hub Create and assist in monitoring budgets and deductibles to ensure invoices are eligible for submission Ensure compliance with Outside Counsel Guidelines and update Aderant as needed, including coordination with attorneys and billing staff Assist with submission of third-party pay invoices/information for OCG compliance Monitor and help resolve billing discrepancies, rejections and appeals in a timely manner Collaborate with vendors to address billing issues and ensure accurate submissions Coordination with billing team for timekeeper approvals Coordination with Accounts Receivable team for write-offs, including disallowances, processing discounts, prompt pay discounts, volume thresholds, etc. Review operating processes and propose adjustments to realize efficient and accurate workflows
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Abilities Experience with Aderant, E-Billing Hub, BillBlast, and various e-billing portals Understanding of LEDES formats Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for a team-oriented environment High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience High School degree or equivalent required, bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal e-billing
Position Information Status:
Non-Exempt Salary Range:
$26.67 to $35.38 per hour, equivalent to $52,000-$69,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience.
