Billing Clerk (Part-Time) Overview Status LLC is hiring a Part-Time Billing Clerk to join our Bayville, NJ office. This ensures client billing for service of process work is accurate and on schedule. Location Bayville, NJ, in-office, part-time (flexible hours, depending on experience) About Status LLC Status LLC is a process serving and legal support company based in Bayville, NJ, with more than twenty years of experience. The team handles personal service of process throughout New Jersey, including service on any state government agency, along with nationwide and international service. Status also offers courtesy filing of affidavits in New Jersey. About the Role As Billing Clerk, you'll manage invoicing for our service of process clients and work closely with process servers, reviewing their comments and monitoring turnaround times to make sure every job is billed correctly. This a strong fit for someone detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers, and confident using Outlook and general office software. What You'll Do You'll bill clients for completed service of process work. You'll review process server comments for accuracy before billing. You'll monitor process server updates and track turnaround times. You'll manage billing-related correspondence through Outlook. You'll answer phones and support light clerical duties as needed. What You'll Bring Outlook proficiency preferred, or willingness to learn (paid training provided). Basic computer knowledge, including Windows and Microsoft email. Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing and billing service records. Comfort answering phones and communicating with clients. Flexibility to work part-time hours in-office in Bayville, NJ. Compensation Part-time, hourly position
Compensation:
$17.00 per hour; hours flexible depending on experience
