Duties Accurately post payments received from insurance companies, patients, and other payers into billing and accounting systems using specialized billing software. Reconcile accounts receivable by matching payments with outstanding claims, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded with proper debits and credits. Review Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements and remittance advice to verify payment accuracy and identify discrepancies for resolution. Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy, maintaining detailed records of all posted transactions for audit purposes.. Utilize Excel data analysis skills to generate reports, analyze payment trends, and assist in account reconciliation efforts. Experience Proven experience in medical billing, preferably within healthcare revenue cycle management. Hands-on experience with Excel formulas, spreadsheets, and Excel data analysis techniques for reporting and account analysis purposes. Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation accurately. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry. Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration; ability to demonstrate professionalism through proper phone etiquette.
