Role:
In this role, you will work closely with experienced Billing Coordinators to support the daily financial operations of the firm. You will assist with client invoicing, manage critical files, and generate weekly/monthly financial reports using 3E and MS Excel. This role is ideal for a numbers-minded graduate looking for a foot-in-the-door opportunity at a top-tier firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Billing Support:
Assist Billing Coordinators with transfers, edits, write-offs, and the finalization of sophisticated client invoices.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Reconcile billing information, generate financial reports using 3E and MS Excel, and audit electronic billing files for upload to client intermediary websites.
Disbursement & Pricing:
Handle disbursement pricing activities (such as recalculating client taxi/meal costs in 3E), analyze duplicate expenses, and ensure mark-up accuracy.
File Management & Auditing:
Maintain, audit, and archive client billing packages to ensure complete, accurate, and audit-ready documentation.
Firm Collaboration:
Partner with Billing Coordinators to gather missing information, track down delinquent timekeepers, and secure necessary back-up documentation for high-profile clients.
Information Security:
Strictly adhere to the firm's stringent data security and confidentiality policies to protect sensitive client and firm assets.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required (ideal for recent graduates seeking corporate/legal exposure).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and MS Excel (experience with legal billing software like 3E is a plus, but training will be provided).
Core Competencies:
Strong facility with numbers, exceptional attention to detail, and polished, professional communication skills.
