Problem-solving Full Job Description Accounts Receivable Specialist Compensation:
$21.00-$28.00/hour, based on experienceBonus:
Bonus opportunity available based on level and experience We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing accounting and finance team. This opportunity is open to candidates at varying experience levels, from developing AR professionals to experienced candidates who can take greater ownership of the Accounts Receivable function. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Accounts Receivable and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Process and apply customer payments accurately and timely Maintain and review Accounts Receivable aging reports Research and resolve payment discrepancies Perform customer account reconciliations Follow up on outstanding and past-due balances Prepare and distribute invoices and customer statements Process credit memos and account adjustments Research unapplied cash, short payments, and account discrepancies Communicate with customers regarding billing and payment questions Maintain accurate customer account records Assist with month-end Accounts Receivable activities Prepare AR reports and analysis Work with Accounting, Finance, Sales, and other internal departments to resolve account issues Assist with process improvements and special projects as needed Qualifications 1+ year of Accounts Receivable or related accounting experience required Candidates with 5+ years of AR experience are encouraged to apply and may be considered at a more senior level Experience with cash application, account reconciliations, aging reports, billing, or collections Microsoft Excel proficiency Experience working with ERP or accounting systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Compensation & Growth Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's level of Accounts Receivable experience and overall skill set, with a range of $21.00-$28.00 per hour . More experienced candidates may also be eligible for bonus compensation and increased responsibilities.Pay:
