This role is critical in managing claims processing and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying and resolving claims-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Claims Management:
Process and manage workers' compensation, liability, and other claims from initiation to resolution.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of claims, incidents, and resolutions in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Communication:
Act as a liaison between internal teams, external stakeholders, and insurance providers to ensure timely and efficient claims resolution.
Analysis:
Review claims data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvements.
Compliance:
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, ensuring claims processes align with legal and organizational standards.
Reporting:
Prepare detailed claims reports and summaries for management review.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in claims management, insurance, or a related field. Knowledge of workers' compensation and liability claim processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with claims management software is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in risk management or insurance are a plus.
