We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working with dental insurance and Medicaid billing. This is an important role on our administrative team. The right person will take ownership of the billing process, stay organized, follow through on outstanding accounts, and make sure our financial records are accurate and up to date. Dental insurance billing experience is required. What You'll Do Obtain and maintain accurate insurance and Medicaid information for patients Submit and follow up on dental insurance and Medicaid claims Maintain daily patient accounts receivable (A/R) Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections Complete month-end A/R closing procedures Reconcile daily cash logs and ensure accurate financial records Maintain monthly census reports and daily operating indicators (DOIs) Set up and maintain billing party contracts Communicate with insurance companies and Medicaid as needed Work closely with the front office and administrative team Protect patient confidentiality and maintain accurate records Help identify and resolve billing issues in a timely manner What We're Looking For Dental insurance billing experience — required Experience with Medicaid billing is a plus Experience setting up billing party contracts Strong attention to detail and excellent organization Comfortable working with numbers, accounts, and financial information Patient and willing to learn the details of our billing processes Strong computer skills Good communication and customer service skills Dependable and able to work independently Previous medical or dental billing experience Why Join Haltom Orthodontics?
