Description:

Submits claims and billings electronically using a variety of electronic portals. Maintains constant communications with MCOs to ensure timely filing. Advocates with MCOs for insurance rate reimbursement. Tracks client payments and insurance claim forms.

Requirements:

Part-time, up to 30 hours, non-exempt position

Hourly Rate:

$17.81 per hour Minimum of a high school diploma and six months of office setting experience Bilingual-Spanish speaking strongly encouraged to apply

Applies all payments to clients' accounts. Bills all invoices to contracted agencies Verifies insurance eligibility of clients as needed Maintains spreadsheet of unpaid claims. Communicates changes of billing codes to staff Notifies support staff and direct service providers of notes when corrections need to be done. Constant communication with Billing Director and other C suite staff. Utilizes knowledge of contract rates and service codes. Use of spreadsheets as needed for follow up to variety of billing issues Regular and consistent attendance for the assigned work schedule is essential. Maintain HIPAA and client confidentiality at all times
