$25.00 per hour 3 Generations Surfacing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to assist our accounting and operations team during our busy season. This position will begin in July and continue through December. The primary responsibility of this position is preparing and processing customer invoices using QuickBooks. The ideal candidate must have previous billing experience, be comfortable working in QuickBooks, and be able to communicate professionally in both English and Spanish. Responsibilities Prepare and process customer invoices in QuickBooks Review job information to ensure billing is complete and accurate Gather and organize supporting documents for invoices Enter billing-related information into QuickBooks and spreadsheets Track completed jobs and identify work that is ready to be billed Maintain accurate customer, job, and billing records Follow up with employees and subcontractors to obtain missing documentation Communicate with customers regarding basic billing questions when needed File, scan, and organize invoices and supporting documents Monitor billing-related emails and respond professionally Assist the accounting and operations team with related administrative tasks Required Qualifications Previous billing or invoicing experience Experience creating and processing invoices in QuickBooks Ability to speak, read, and write in both English and Spanish Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to communicate professionally by phone and email Dependable, responsible, and able to follow established procedures Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment Preferred Qualifications Previous billing experience in construction or a service-based business Experience organizing job documentation and supporting billing records Familiarity with accounts receivable processes Compensation This seasonal position pays $25.00 per hour. Schedule This position runs from July through December. Specific working days and hours will be discussed during the interview process.
