In this vital role, you will be responsible for assisting with the billing process, ensuring accurate data and efficient payments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in medical billing and claims processing. Responsibilities Maintain detailed documentation of billing activities, medical records, and correspondence Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through medical collection efforts and insurance appeals Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and ensure compliance with coding standards Stay updated on healthcare claims management policies, health insurance regulations, and coding guidelines Qualifications Proven experience in medical billing, medical coding, or healthcare claims management Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and billing software platforms Excellent understanding of health insurance processes, medical terminology, and medical records management Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and insurance representatives Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not required
