Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily billing activities, including medical billing, insurance claims processing, and accounts receivable management Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare billing regulations such as Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance requirements Oversee the accurate coding of medical procedures using ICD (International Classification of Diseases) codes and other medical coding standards Manage the team responsible for electronic health records (EHR) management and ensure data integrity in billing systems Monitor billing software performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain seamless operations Train and mentor team members on healthcare billing management, insurance third-party billing procedures, and regulatory updates Prepare detailed reports on billing performance metrics, reimbursement rates, and outstanding accounts for senior management Experience Proven experience in healthcare billing management with a strong understanding of hospital revenue cycle processes Extensive knowledge of medical billing regulations including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance policies Hands-on experience with billing software systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical coding practices including ICD coding standards Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively with strong team management skills Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement policies, insurance third-party billing procedures, and revenue cycle optimization strategies Excellent communication skills to coordinate across departments and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations Join us as a Billing Supervisor to lead our financial operations with energy and precision.
