What You'll Do As a Collections Specialist, you will work directly with established customers regarding their auto financing accounts. You will use effective communication, negotiation, and collection strategies to resolve outstanding balances while providing professional and respectful customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls. Contact customers regarding past-due accounts and outstanding payments. Negotiate payment arrangements and assist customers in resolving delinquent accounts. Receive and accurately post customer payments. Follow up with customers on unpaid accounts. Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records. Perform skip tracing when necessary. Initiate repossession proceedings in accordance with company policies and procedures. Counsel customers regarding their accounts and payment options. Build professional relationships with customers and identify payment patterns. Provide outstanding customer service. Perform additional duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Previous experience in collections, billing, customer service, or a related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities. Ability to build rapport with customers. Professional telephone presence and interpersonal skills. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage a high-volume workload. Adaptability and willingness to learn. Positive, can-do attitude . Professional appearance and demeanor.
