InGenesis is currently seeking an Account Clerk 3 to work with our client. In this role, you will play a key role in reviewing, researching, and processing claims to ensure compliance with Ohio's Unclaimed Funds laws and regulations. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, no holidays or weekends. Primary Responsibilities Examine, review, verify, and process claims for unclaimed funds. Gather and evaluate background information to determine claim validity. Ensure compliance with applicable Unclaimed Funds laws and procedures. Communicate with claimants and reporting agents regarding claim status and requirements. Analyze reports, forms, and supporting documentation submitted with claims. Conduct in-depth research and process complex claims requiring detailed review. Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming claimant inquiries. Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the claims process. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of undergraduate core coursework in Accounting Two (2) years of recent accounting experience Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with particular expertise in Microsoft Excel. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
