Client E-Billing Representative

Job Description

Dinsmore is seeking a Client E-Billing Representative who will be responsible for the daily billing functions including time and cost transfers, write-downs, computer bills, special bills, void/rebills, ebilling vendor site management and attorney inquiries. This position can be located in: Ann Arbor, MI; Bloomington, IN; Boston, MA; Charleston, WV; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Dayton, OH; Troy, MI; Houston, TX; Huntington, WV; Indianapolis, IN; Lexington, KY; Louisville, KY; Miami, FL; Morgantown, WV; Orlando, FL; Tampa, FL; Wheeling, WV Responsibilities Coordinates all aspects of billing for assigned attorneys, clients and ebilling sites in accordance with Firm policies and procedures Coordinates all aspects of electronic billing through client electronic billing sites and BillBlast as required by clients Reviews, edits and processes pre-bills Perform various reconciliation and monitoring adjustments to ensure final invoice to client is accurate. Includes write offs, rate overrides, etc. Communicates with billing attorneys and/or legal administrative assistants regarding billing matters Prepares final invoices for transmittal to BillBlast or ebilling site Maintain and disseminate information on ebilling reporting and billing requirements as needed Manage high volume of emails and calls pertaining to legal billing Provide first level of billing system technical support to Firm attorneys and support staff Maintain accurate and complete documentation of ebilling changes for audit trail; scans related documents into CMS, BillBlast and ebilling vendor sites as needed Perform various matter and ebilling site reconciliations Update systems and sites with needed information to ensure successful ebilling submissions Monitor rejections, reductions and adjustments to ensure ebilling invoices are fully processed Maintain and disseminate information on reporting and ebilling requirements Make any changes necessary to ebilling formats Process monthly invoices and follow through with rejections and reductions as necessary. Prepare ad hoc billing reports upon request from billing attorney or leadership Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements Minimum of 3 years of legal billing experience High school diploma is required Equal Opportunity Employer #multi
