This position connects clinical documentation with financial reimbursement to support accurate payment for care provided under Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance programs. Key Responsibilities Verify admissions documentation and maintain billing records in PointClickCare. Prepare and deliver bank deposits. Follow up on resident Medicaid applications and benefits. Track ancillary charges and monitor daily billing and census accuracy. Participate in the triple-check process and coordinate approved claim submissions. Collaborate with the MDS Coordinator to ensure clinical documentation supports billing codes. Monitor private-pay accounts receivable and resolve outstanding balances. Coordinate with third-party billing companies to address unpaid or denied claims. Manage resident trust funds and private-pay billing statements as assigned. Assist residents and families with billing, insurance, and financial questions. Enter accounts payable invoices within required closing timelines. Protect resident rights, dignity, property, and confidential information. Complete required training and follow organizational policies, including cybersecurity requirements.
