Your day may include:
Researching and gathering information needed for claim submission Reviewing denied claims and submitting appeals Following up with insurance carriers on unpaid or delayed claims Investigating claim discrepancies and finding resolutions Managing overpayments and coordinating refunds when necessary Working with teammates to resolve outstanding balances Maintaining accurate billing records and documentation Assisting patients and insurance representatives with billing-related questions Protecting confidential patient and financial information Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities Think of it as part billing specialist, part problem solver, part professional claim hunter.The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here:
