Job Description
Chartiers Center is a private, non-profit corporation funded by state, county, third party insurances and private funds. Services include intake, referral, outpatient therapy, psychiatric assessment, service coordination, substance abuse treatment, training and social rehabilitative services, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community outreach, day, and recreational services for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless outreach, and housing program. As a Senior Billing Specialist with Chartiers Center, you would be responsible for all types of insurance and client payment procession including posting, denial management, insurance eligibility verification and month end reconciliation. Please note that this not a remote position. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite during the probationary period. Following successful completion of probation, the role will transition to a hybrid work arrangement. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance and be available to report onsite as needed to support business requirements. The Senior Billing Specialist jobs duties include: Verify insurance eligibility daily Post Insurance and client payments accurately and in a timely manner Review, resolve and follow up on claim denials and rejections Manage follow-up for Accounts Receivable Complete month end balancing and closing procedures Handle billing for clients, and insurance companies including Medical Assistance, Medicare, Commercial Insurers, and others as required. Minimum Qualifications:
