Position is located in Harrisburg, PA; must be able to report to the office.

Non-Exempt Summary of Position:
Cost Billing Specialist applies the principles of cost accounting to provide detailed expense and revenue information beyond what is supplied by the general ledge. Prepare and analyze cost reports and correctly interpret the financial compliance requirements in contract guidelines. Develop reliable and timely forecast budgets as required and communicate findings to internal departments and program staff. Issue invoices supported by interpretation of contract requirements and schedules, data, and analysis. Expertly navigate multiple software systems, applications, and portals to support objectives. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to achieve efficiency and accuracy Support cost accounting work using Microsoft Excel tools.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Associates degree in Accounting and/or 2-4 years of directly related experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is general preferred. 2 -4 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Experience in non-profit sectors a plus.
