Behavioral Health Billing & Operations Specialist Collaborative Counseling is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Behavioral Health Billing & Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of our growing mental health practice. This is a key role for someone who thrives on keeping systems running, solving problems, and stepping in where needed. You'll support insurance verification, reporting, payroll processes, and both client and provider communication—playing a central role in keeping our clinic running smoothly. What You'll Do Operations & Systems Support Run and review reports to support billing, payroll, and overall operations Track tasks and workflows using systems such as Asana Follow established workflows while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency Insurance & Financial Support Complete benefit verifications with accuracy and efficiency Review and interpret insurance claims, including EOBs and payment details Support billing processes and collections workflows as needed Maintain and manage client payment plans Provider & Client Support Answer billing and insurance-related questions from clients and therapists Clearly communicate financial and insurance information in a way that's easy to understand Support providers with administrative and operational questions Administrative & Team Support Assist with payroll preparation, tracking, and data verification Conduct therapist file audits to ensure accuracy and compliance Support credentialing processes and required documentation Provide backup support to the administrative team, including phones and front-end needs What Success Looks Like Work is completed accurately and on time with minimal oversight Systems are used consistently, and nothing falls through the cracks Billing, insurance, and payroll information is clearly understood and communicated Tasks are owned from start to finish—not passed along or left incomplete Communication is clear, proactive, and solution-focused The team can rely on you to step in and keep things moving when needed This Role is a
