Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Billing Manager to lead our dental billing operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire revenue cycle management process, ensuring accurate and timely billing for dental services while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Your leadership will drive efficiency, optimize revenue collection, and uphold the highest standards of healthcare billing management. Responsibilities Manage and supervise the dental billing team to ensure accurate submission of claims, follow-up, and collections. Oversee billing processes using specialized billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems to streamline operations. Ensure compliance with all dental billing regulations, including and private insurance third-party billing standards. Monitor and improve the revenue cycle management process from patient registration through final payment. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare billing regulations, ICD coding standards, medical coding practices, and insurance policies. Collaborate with clinical staff to verify patient information and ensure accurate documentation for billing purposes. Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies, resolve denied claims, and optimize reimbursement rates. Lead training sessions for staff on healthcare billing management, medical coding updates, and regulatory changes. Develop reports on billing performance metrics to inform strategic decision-making and process improvements. Qualifications Proven experience in medical billing management within a healthcare or dental setting. Strong knowledge of healthcare billing regulations including Medicare, Medicaid, ICD coding, medical coding, and health insurance policies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with advanced billing software systems. Experience managing teams with excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff toward shared goals. Deep understanding of revenue cycle management processes and electronic health records (EHR) management systems.t. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Ability to adapt to evolving regulatory environments and implement necessary changes effectively.
