Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled in house Dental Biller to join our growing organization. This role requires someone who is extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated, and deeply knowledgeable in all aspects of dental insurance billing, posting, credentialing, and auditing. Duties Manage all dental billing functions remotely, including claims submission, pre-authorizations, insurance verification, and accurate payment posting. Perform complex billing workflows, including implant cases, multi-visit treatments, medical cross-coding (preferred), and secondary claims. Handle VA Community Care credentialing and billing, ensuring correct authorizations, documentation, and timely payment resolution. Conduct billing audits, spot discrepancies, ensure compliance with insurance guidelines, and improve revenue-cycle performance. Follow up on aged claims, appeals, denials, and unpaid balances with persistence and accuracy. Collaborate virtually with front office and clinical teams to ensure correct coding and documentation. Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and strong communication in a remote work environment Requirements 3+ years of dental billing experience. Local to Ocala and knows the local plans. Deep knowledge of CDT codes, insurance rules, and dental billing workflows. Strong ability to audit ledgers, identify revenue leaks, and correct claim errors. Proficiency with dental practice management software (Open Dental preferred, not required).
