401(k) Bonus based on performance Company parties Dental insurance Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Parental leave Training & development Vision insurance Wellness resources Our client, a respected law firm in Roseland, NJ, is seeking an experienced E-Billing Specialist to join its Accounting Department. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, this role is ideal for a billing professional with a strong law firm background and extensive experience managing electronic billing processes. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of legal billing experience , along with proficiency in Elite 3E, eHub, and Microsoft Excel . Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the billing process for assigned attorneys, including: Billing preparation and review Time entry edits Transfers Write-downs and write-offs Rate adjustments and troubleshooting Client billing inquiries Oversee high-volume electronic billing activities, including: E-billing setup and maintenance Invoice submissions Accrual processing Appeals management E-billing collections and related correspondence Maintain and update attorney and client billing rates, including establishing and managing rate sets. Prepare and distribute billing and revenue reports as needed. Develop strong working relationships with attorneys, legal assistants, and firm management to ensure timely and accurate billing. Collaborate with the Accounting team to meet monthly and annual billing goals and deadlines. Document and maintain all billing-related communications within the firm's document management system (iManage). Qualifications Minimum 5 years of billing experience within a law firm environment. Strong knowledge of electronic billing platforms and legal billing procedures. Experience with Elite 3E , eHub , and Microsoft Excel . Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
