Responsibilities Prepare and submit insurance claims accurately using specialized billing software and EMR/EHR (Electronic Medical Records/Electronic Health Records) systems Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through healthcare claims management processes and medical collections efforts Verify patient insurance coverage and explain benefits to ensure proper reimbursement Maintain detailed records of billing activities, medical records, and correspondence with insurance providers Stay current with healthcare regulations and insurance policies to ensure compliance and optimize reimbursement rates Qualifications Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or medical office administration with familiarity in healthcare claims management Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records, and the billing process within a healthcare setting Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, billing software, EMR/EHR systems, and other relevant technology tools Familiarity with

DRG, CPT

coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding standards, and healthcare insurance policies Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with patients, providers, and insurance companies Ability to interpret complex medical documentation and translate it into accurate billing data Prior experience working with health insurance plans and understanding of medical coding standards is highly desirable

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
