Contract:
13 weeks Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Billing Follow-Up Associate with a strong background in physician/clinic billing and denial management . The ideal candidate will have experience resolving claims with Medical Groups, Government Payers, Commercial Payers, HMOs, TPLs, and IPAs while ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement. Responsibilities Follow up on unpaid, denied, and underpaid physician claims. Review, correct, and submit claims and appeals. Resolve denials with government, commercial, and managed care payers. Communicate with patients, insurance carriers, and internal departments to obtain claim information. Research reimbursement issues and initiate collection activities. Process write-offs and account adjustments. Meet productivity and quality standards. Perform additional revenue cycle duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
Experience with physician/clinic billing follow-up and denial resolution. Experience working Medical Groups, Medicare/Medi-Cal, Commercial Payers, HMOs, TPLs, and IPAs. Strong knowledge of medical billing, insurance reimbursement, and collections. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's degree preferred. Medical billing and collections experience preferred. Pay:
$28.00 - $30.50 per hour
