•Responsibilities Accurately enter daily patient charges and review documentation for completeness. Review

CPT, ICD-10

codes and modifiers for accuracy and proper claim submission. Post patient payments received by credit card, check, cash, and online payment systems. Answer incoming patient billing calls and provide clear, courteous explanations of balances, payments, insurance processing, and statements. Outreach patients via telephone with high balances to establish payment arrangements in accordance with practice policies. Generate and send monthly patient statements. Document all patient communications and account activity accurately in the practice management system. Collaborate with front-desk staff, clinical teams, and management to resolve billing issues. Perform additional billing and administrative duties as assigned. Requirements A minimum of two years of medical billing experience is required. Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding. Ability to read and interpret EOBs and understand insurance payments, adjustments, denials, and patient responsibility. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent telephone communication and customer-service skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with electronic health records, practice management systems, and Microsoft Office. High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Qualifications Previous Ophthalmology or Retina billing experience is preferred but not required.

Pay:

From $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
