Position SummaryFollows processes to assist with processing, insurance verification and authorization, revenue cycle management, compliance and documentation, as well as customer service and issue resolution. Provides support in ensuring accurate billing, efficient revenue flow, and compliance with regulations.



What you will do

  • Performs billing operations for premium payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, receipts, and reconciliations.
  • Documents billing processes and procedures to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience
  • Monitors billing data and trends, identifying discrepancies, issues, and opportunities for process improvements, and escalating opportunities.
  • Provides support to customers and internal stakeholders in resolving billing inquiries, discrepancies, and escalations, delivering excellent customer service.
  • Communicates with insurance brokers, agents, and third-party administrators to address premium-related issues, reconcile accounts, and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Drafts billing reports and financial analyses to management, providing insights and recommendations for revenue optimization and cost control.
  • Assists internal teams, such as underwriting, finance, and customer service with gathering and validating premium billing data.
  • Follows regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and personal development.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in premium billing operations.
    Required Qualifications

  • 1+ Customer service experience.

  • 1+ years working with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Intermediate to Advanced level.

  • Must be able to work in Franklin TN. office Tuesday
  • Thursday.
    Preferred Qualifications
  • Finance / Banking knowledge preferred.
  • Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills.

  • Familiarity with life insurance terminology and regulatory requirements is a plus.

    The typical pay range for this role is:
    $17.00
