The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Home Health Billing Manager to lead billing operations for our Home Health division. This hands-on role in our Fort Worth, TX corporate office, oversees the full billing cycle - claims submission, denials, collections, reconciliation, and accounts receivable follow-up - while ensuring compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements. The ideal candidate brings deep HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) experience, strong knowledge of both episodic/PDGM and per-visit billing, and a proven ability to improve clean-claim performance and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO). Requirements What You'll Do Lead end-to-end home health billing operations, including episodic/PDGM and per-visit claims, submission, follow-up, and reconciliation. Maintain visibility across intake, authorizations, billing, claims, denials, collections, and accounts receivable to identify and resolve bottlenecks. Provide hands-on leadership to a small billing team, setting clear expectations for productivity, quality, and accountability. Manage HCHB billing workflows, including NOAs, final claims, financial batches, and applicable legacy RAP processes. Ensure compliance with Medicare requirements, state Medicaid rules, and payer-specific billing guidelines. Drive timely denial resolution and proactive accounts receivable follow-up. Track and report key revenue-cycle metrics, including clean-claim rate, DSO, denial rate, and collections performance. Partner with finance and operational leaders to close documentation gaps and improve billing outcomes. What We're Looking For 5+ years of home health billing experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Direct, hands-on experience with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) is required. Expertise in episodic/PDGM and per-visit claims processing. Strong knowledge of Medicare home health billing, Medicaid, and commercial payer processes. Experience managing NOAs, final claims, denials, collections, and accounts receivable workflows. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Tableau or similar reporting experience is a plus. A hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach a small team and improve performance.
