coding, and DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) classifications Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, perform medical collections when necessary, and resolve discrepancies efficiently Maintain detailed records of billing transactions, claim statuses, and correspondence in compliance with healthcare regulations Communicate effectively with insurance companies, healthcare providers, patients, and other stakeholders to expedite claim processing Stay current with updates in health insurance policies, medical terminology, and coding guidelines to ensure accuracy and compliance Requirements Proven experience in medical billing, medical coding, or healthcare claims management within a medical office environment Strong knowledge of

ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT
