This is an in office position. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our healthcare team. Duties Prepare and submit healthcare claims using billing software, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Review medical records for accuracy and completeness, ensuring proper coding with CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group), and ICD coding standards Verify insurance coverage and benefits, resolving claim denials through effective follow-up and appeals Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure correct coding for procedures and diagnoses Manage medical collections by following up on outstanding balances with patients and insurance companies Maintain detailed documentation of billing activities, patient records, and correspondence Stay updated on healthcare claims management regulations, health insurance policies, and coding guidelines to ensure compliance Experience Proven experience in medical billing or medical office administration, with a strong understanding of healthcare claims management Familiarity with medical coding including
