About Texas Commercial Tire Texas Commercial Tire is a family-owned commercial tire and fleet service company committed to providing exceptional service to our customers. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring customer work orders are reviewed, processed, and invoiced accurately and on time. We are seeking someone who is organized, adaptable, and willing to take ownership of their responsibilities while assisting the team where needed.
Responsibilities:
Review completed work orders for accuracy and required documentation Verify pricing, labor, parts, service codes, purchase orders, and customer information Process and submit customer invoices accurately and promptly Handle billing for national account customers Confirm work orders through customer billing portals when required Research and correct rejected invoices, billing errors, and missing information Communicate with store personnel, customers, and internal team members to resolve discrepancies Track work orders through the billing process and follow up on outstanding approvals Maintain organized electronic and physical billing records Assist with customer account research and other accounting duties as needed
Qualifications:
Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining consistent attendance Must take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through without repeated reminders Previous billing, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to review supporting documentation and identify discrepancies Strong organizational and time-management skills Comfortable learning new accounting systems and customer billing portals Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams Ability to communicate professionally and work with multiple departments Ability to prioritize a high volume of work and meet deadlines Experience in the tire, automotive, trucking, or service industry is helpful but not required Experience with GTX, TireHQ, or FleetHQ is a plus but not required Benefits Competitive salary Paid time off Health benefits Family-oriented work environment Stable and growing company This is an on-site position. Up to $23.00 per hour
