Mental health billing experience would be a big plus. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the entire billing process, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims, and facilitating smooth communication between healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients. Your expertise will help optimize revenue cycles while maintaining compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities Prepare and submit medical claims accurately using billing software and EMR/EHR systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Review medical records and documentation to verify proper coding using CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group), and ICD coding standards. Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through effective medical collection strategies and healthcare claims management.
