Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Billing Clerk to join our automotive dealership team. The ideal candidate is accurate, organized, and capable of maintaining a high degree of professionalism while handling sensitive financial data. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our dealership's accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Process all vehicle sales paperwork, including retail, wholesale, and dealer‑trade transactions Prepare and verify title documents, contracts, and other required forms Accurately bill new and used vehicle deals in accordance with dealership and state guidelines Ensure all deal jackets contain proper documentation before sending to accounting Work closely with sales, finance, and management teams to resolve discrepancies Maintain organized digital and physical billing records Reconcile billing schedules and support end‑of‑month processes Assist with DMV or third‑party submissions as needed Perform inventory management tasks, including maintaining accurate vehicle records Stock in new and used vehicles into the dealership management system (DMS) Verify VIN numbers, model details, pricing, and applicable fees during stock‑in process Requirements Minimum of 2 years of billing, accounting, or office administration experience (automotive dealership experience strongly preferred) Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high transaction volume Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or equivalent Strong understanding of titling procedures and state‑specific documentation Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Who You Are Reliable, proactive, and committed to accuracy Comfortable working with confidential and sensitive financial information A team player who contributes to a positive and productive workplace
