About Us At Inpatient Physician Associates (IPA), clinicians and administrative staff work together to care for patients across multiple facilities. The opportunity This position connects provider credentialing, billing, and scheduling across multiple facilities. You will work with clinicians, hospital contacts, and billing partners to keep new provider starts on track, resolve billing issues, and communicate coverage changes clearly. What you will do Credentialing and provider onboarding Coordinate credentialing and onboarding for more than 60 providers across HIPPA and Vanguard, including hospital and facility applications, supporting documents, privilege requests, and delineations of privileges. Track submissions and follow through on pending approvals. Coordinate medical licenses, CAQH and PECOS records, Epic training, orientation, and start dates for incoming providers. Billing and coding Oversee billing for more than 30 hospitalists in partnership with ClaimPower and the billing team. Create and maintain a monthly provider billing checklist of daily patient billing totals, missing encounters, late submissions, and resolution status. Identify and submit roughly 100 to 200 missing encounters each month. Investigate Epic errors, unsent items, and services billed under the wrong provider. Upload paper billing and corrections to ClaimPower, including corrections received from providers and those found through your own review. Guide providers on billing deadlines, ICD-10 diagnoses, follow-up visit coding, advance care planning, and documentation requirements; escalate coding questions when specialized guidance is needed. Scheduling and daily coordination Build, maintain, and distribute monthly provider schedules and preliminary future schedules. Enter individual assignments in QGenda by hospital unit, provider role, and shift time; check coverage and update changes. Maintain monthly patient census records for HMH, HMSL, and Encompass. Prepare and email provider assignment lists to hospitals each morning and upload the lists to ClaimPower. Track worked shifts for payroll and coordinate coverage and operational questions across hospital and skilled nursing facility locations. Communicate schedule updates, expectations, and process changes to providers. Malpractice and administrative support Manage malpractice coverage and certificates of insurance, including provider roster changes, effective dates, PRN status, and coverage questions. Coordinate privilege and vicarious liability arrangements. Handle HIPPA malpractice claims or litigation matters as they arise, working with the appropriate partners. Complete or coordinate TXEver death certificates, work-release forms, and prescription clarification requests. Order and pick up provider lab coats and business cards. What you bring Experience coordinating provider credentialing, hospital privileges, or medical staff onboarding in a healthcare setting. Working knowledge of provider billing workflows and the ability to investigate missing encounters, documentation gaps, and billing corrections. Experience managing complex provider schedules and coordinating with hospitals, clinicians, and outside partners. Strong follow-through, attention to detail, and comfort handling several time-sensitive priorities at once. Familiarity with CAQH, PECOS, Epic, QGenda, ClaimPower, or TXEver is helpful.
Preferred Experience :
Hospital / physician credentialing Medical billing / coding Microsoft office including Excel, Word, etc. etc. Being very organized and able to multitask is mandatory
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
