Responsibilities Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies using billing software and accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft Manage accounts receivable by tracking payments, following up on overdue accounts, and reconciling discrepancies with clients Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliation to maintain precise financial records in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Support collections account management by contacting clients via phone or email to facilitate timely payments and resolve billing issues Enter data accurately into spreadsheets and accounting software, utilizing Excel formulas for analysis and reporting purposes Assist with accounts payable tasks, including processing vendor invoices and verifying expense documentation Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and maintain audit-ready documentation Skills Strong understanding of accounting concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and technical accounting principles Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms; experience with billing software is highly desirable Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; familiarity with 10 key typing and spreadsheet management using Excel is essential Knowledge of GAAP standards and governmental or corporate accounting practices Effective communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration; professional phone etiquette is a must Analysis skills for Excel data analysis, account reconciliation, and financial reporting tasks Ability to manage collections accounts efficiently while maintaining positive customer service relationships Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Excel formulas for data analysis is advantageous Attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Junior Billing Administrator where your enthusiasm for numbers and dedication to accuracy will make a meaningful impact.
