We're looking for a detail-oriented Client Billing Specialist who enjoys problem-solving, staying organized, and providing exceptional customer service while helping families navigate billing and insurance questions with compassion. What You'll Do As our Client Billing Specialist, you'll play an important role in keeping our billing process accurate, organized, and client-friendly by: Preparing and sending accurate client invoices Helping clients and families understand balances, charges, and payment options Setting up and managing payment plans while tracking account activity Monitoring outstanding balances and following up professionally on unpaid accounts Working closely with insurance, authorization, credentialing, and revenue cycle teams to resolve billing issues Maintaining accurate billing records across electronic health records and billing systems Researching and resolving billing discrepancies Assisting with insurance-related corrections, denied claims, and account updates Supporting billing audits, reports, and process improvements Cross-training with team members to ensure smooth workflow and excellent client service Protecting confidential client information and maintaining HIPAA compliance What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree or billing certification is a plus) 1+ year of experience in billing, collections, customer service, insurance verification, or a related administrative role Healthcare or behavioral health billing experience preferred Familiarity with insurance terminology, payment plans, and client invoicing is a plus Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems, billing software, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Excellent organization and attention to detail Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy Professional, compassionate, and dependable Why You'll Love Working at Crimson Heights At Crimson Heights, you'll join a team that's passionate about helping teens and young adults build brighter futures.
