Job Description

SUMMARY The Accounts Receivable Analyst works with our Mission Critical team and senior management to assist customers, clients, and vendors through processing invoices for payment and preparing customer invoices with strong attention to detail. A strong knowledge of accounting principles and software systems is required. The role also requires strong critical thinking and analysis skills. DUTIES Maintain retainer list of customers to ensure proper management of monthly, quarterly, or annual adjustments as needed. Assist in receiving and researching payments from customers and match to invoices. Prepare monthly retainers for all division customers. Maintain and track over 10+ customer web portals. Analyze AR data and develop new strategies to improve collection processes. Maintain records for reporting purposes on all transactions. Assist operations team in resolving issues or customer service problems. Ensure the timely reporting of all daily, weekly, and monthly financial information. Manage division's accounts receivable function to ensure customers are timely. Customer portal management including collections and reporting on accounts receivable metrics. Prepare adjustments on internal and external financial entries. Support overall department goals and perform any other administrative duties as assigned.
KEY CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES
Knowledge of Consumer Price Indexes. Working knowledge of accounting software. Proficient in Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multi-task in time-sensitive situations to meet deadlines. Excellent team relationship skills. Strong customer service focus.
KEY CANDIDATE SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in business or accounting Principles 3 years' experience with Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit for long periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work environment will consist of mix of phone calls and computer related tasks to assist with the customer experience. Customer inquiries can fluctuate based on seasonal demands which can also affect office hour requirements. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
