Legal Billing Specialist NRI, Inc. United States, Virginia, Chantilly Jul 30, 2026 NRI Staffing is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Coordinator for a law firm client in Chantilly, VA. This role is responsible for managing the full legal billing cycle, including invoice preparation, e-billing submissions, billing compliance, accounts receivable support, and attorney collaboration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Aderant Expert Sierra and BillBlast and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities Generate, review, edit, and finalize legal invoices using Aderant Expert Sierra
Manage complex billing arrangements including split billing and task-based billing codes
Submit invoices through various client e-billing platforms using BillBlast
Monitor invoice submissions and resolve billing rejections, deductions, and short-pay issues
Ensure compliance with Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs), billing requirements, and client budgets
Review and maintain accurate Work in Progress (WIP) records
Partner with attorneys and legal staff to address billing questions and accrual requests
Track unbilled time and assist with aging accounts receivable and collections efforts
Prepare billing and financial reports as needed
Maintain accurate client and matter billing records
