Duties Review and verify medical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness before billing Assign appropriate diagnosis codes using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to reflect patient conditions accurately Apply CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes for procedures and services rendered Utilize DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) classifications for inpatient hospital billing when applicable Prepare and submit clean claims electronically through billing software and EMR/EHR systems Follow up on unpaid or denied claims by communicating with insurance providers and patients to resolve issues Maintain detailed records of medical bills, payments, adjustments, and collections in compliance with healthcare regulations Stay updated on healthcare claims management policies, health insurance guidelines, and coding changes to ensure compliance and maximize reimbursements Requirements Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or healthcare administration with a strong understanding of medical records and terminology Proficiency in
